Our Church has been around for a while ! Christians first started meeting together as Limerick Baptist Church in 1892. Three years later in 1895 they moved into a new church building in O'Connell Avenue in the centre of the city.
Almost a century later, the church decided it was time to move again. In May 1993 a new purpose built building was opened in Caherdavin, a growing suburban area of Limerick City. Sinse 1895, the church has been served by 16 different pastors. We thank God for his faithfulness and that today our church is still a light and a witness in Limerick City. |
