Pastor |
|
Sam and Judith Devine and their two sons, Christopher and Nathan came to Limerick in 2003. Originally from Belfast they arrived from Donegal Town where they had lived for 8 years. With a name like Devine one would have thought Sam was destined to become a Pastor ! However, he swiftly points out that his school teachers used to say, Devine by name but not by nature ! Sam was a laboratory research technician before studying Theology at the Irish Baptist College and Queen's University Belfast. He spent over two years as a Youth Worker in Newtownbreda Baptist in Belfast before joining the staff of Baptist Missions. He then spent a year and a half in Sligo before moving to Donegal Town. It was there that Sam and Judith served with Baptist Missions in a church planting role. |
